PacificMountain ("we", "us", "our") operates the free social entertainment platform accessible at augurfolio.com. Our registered office is located at 412 Burrard Street, Vancouver, BC V6Z 2A8, Canada.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our platform, how we use it, and what rights you have. We are committed to minimal data collection consistent with operating a functional, secure website. Because our platform involves no real money, no accounts, and no purchases, we have very little reason to collect personal information — and we don't.

3. What We Do NOT Collect

To be unambiguous, PacificMountain does not collect:

• Your name or username
• Your email address
• Your date of birth or age verification documents
• Payment information of any kind (credit card, bank account, cryptocurrency)
• Government-issued identification
• Location data beyond the approximate country-level inference available from your IP address
• Behavioural profiles or cross-site tracking data

4. Cookies and Local Storage

PacificMountain uses browser localStorage (not HTTP cookies set by our server) to maintain two lightweight preferences between sessions:

• sx_age_ok — stores your acknowledgement that you are 18 or older, so the age gate does not reappear on every visit.
• sx_ck_ok / sx_ck_no — stores your response to our cookie consent banner.

Your in-game virtual credit balance is stored in localStorage within your browser. This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you clear your browser storage.

5. Third-Party Processors and CDN Resources

To deliver the platform interface, we load resources from the following third-party CDNs. Each has its own privacy policy:

• jsDelivr (Bootstrap 5.3.3) — delivers our CSS framework. Privacy policy: jsdelivr.com/privacy-policy.
• Cloudflare (Font Awesome) — delivers icon fonts. Privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

We do not use advertising networks, analytics platforms, social-media pixels, or any tracking integrations. There are no third-party trackers on this platform.

6. How We Use Data

The limited technical data we process is used exclusively for:

• Platform security — rate-limiting requests and preventing automated attacks.
• Error diagnostics — identifying and resolving technical faults that affect platform availability.

We do not use any data for marketing, profiling, advertising targeting, or sale to third parties.

7. Data Retention

Session data recorded in server access logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) is subject to standard web-server log rotation. Logs are not retained beyond operational necessity and are not stored in a user-linked database.

localStorage data (age gate preference, cookie consent choice, virtual credit balance) exists only in your browser and is never transmitted to our servers. It is deleted when you clear your browser's localStorage or site data.

We maintain no server-side database of visitor profiles or session histories.

8. Your Rights Under PIPEDA, PIPA (BC), and GDPR

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal information:

• PIPEDA (Canada, federal) — right to access personal information held about you and to challenge its accuracy.
• PIPA (British Columbia) — right to request access to and correction of personal information.
• GDPR (European Union / EEA visitors) — right to access, rectification, erasure ("right to be forgotten"), restriction of processing, and data portability.

9. Security Measures

We implement reasonable technical measures to protect the platform and any incidentally processed data, including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, rate-limiting at the server level, and regular security reviews of the platform codebase. No transmission over the internet is 100% secure; however, because we collect no sensitive personal data, the risk to visitors is minimal.

10. International Transfers

PacificMountain is operated from Vancouver, BC, Canada. If you are visiting from outside Canada, your connection data (IP address, HTTP headers) passes through our server infrastructure located in Canada. By using the platform, you consent to this incidental processing. We do not transfer personal data internationally beyond what is inherent in serving a publicly accessible website.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our platform, legal obligations, or best practices.
